Private Editors provides browser-based PDF processing tools that operate entirely on the user's local device. The Service does not transmit, store, or process user files on any remote server. All processing occurs within the user's web browser using client-side JavaScript libraries.
3. Free to Use
The Service is provided free of charge. We reserve the right to introduce optional premium features in the future, but all currently available tools will remain free.
4. Permitted Use
You may use the Service for any lawful purpose, including personal, commercial, and educational use. You agree not to:
- Use the Service to process files containing illegal content
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, modify, or redistribute the Service
- Use automated means to scrape or bulk-access the Service in ways that harm performance
- Impersonate the Service or misrepresent your use of it
5. Intellectual Property
The website design, branding, and content of Private Editors are owned by us. The open-source libraries used (pdf-lib, PDF.js, jsPDF) remain subject to their respective licences (MIT, Apache 2.0). You retain full ownership of any documents you process using the Service.
